Han Kang was born in 1970 in Gwangju, South Korea. She is one of the most restless voices in contemporary literature. Her books explore the invisible violence of everyday life and the fragility of the body as a place of memory. Nobel Prize in 2024.

She was a sex worker, a street seller and a housemaid. She is a writer, actress and singer. One of the most important voices in contemporary Latin American literature.
