Valério Romão

Valério Romão was born in 1974 in France, but has lived most of his life in Portugal. He is a writer, translator and playwright, known for his intense approach and for exploring the darkest corners of human experience. He writes novels, plays and short stories. Among his best-known books are Autismo, O da Joana and Cair para Dentro. Valério Romão is still alive and active on the Portuguese literary scene, and is considered one of the most singular voices in contemporary fiction.
