The story of everyone and each individual

Essential reading for anyone wishing to understand the depth and innovation of Gertrude Stein's work.

A collection bringing together three distinct texts by the author: the novel "Ida", the poems "Fourteen Anonymous Portraits" and the essay "The Gradual Making of The Making of Americans".

Published in 2022, this book offers a comprehensive view of Stein's literary versatility. "Ida" is a novel that tells the story of a woman in search of identity and purpose, while "Fourteen Anonymous Portraits" presents a series of poems that capture moments and characters in a unique and evocative way.

"The Gradual Making of The Making of Americans", well ... I won't talk about that one. You're better off reading it.
