Philosophical investigations

Considered a central work of twentieth-century philosophy, Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations introduces a new method for understanding and addressing the traditional problems that have always plagued the various philosophical schools.

It once again deals with concepts such as the meaning of propositions, thought, logic, the understanding of rules, and the (im)possibility of private languages. Its legacy is enormous for philosophy and for other disciplines that require clarification of the languages they work with even before the production of specific knowledge.

Therefore, Philosophical Investigations is a meticulous and patient investigation into how language works in its practical use, while at the same time constructing a new vision of what man and the human way of life are.

Written in a singular style, in which the author sometimes dialogues with his alter ego and frequently takes aphoristic form, this work by the last Wittgenstein is also considered a creation of great literary value.
