The large notebook
Through pages of a deeply stripped-back beauty and the story of two twins who are ultimately separated by the vagaries of life in an irremediable way, the reader is confronted with a universe that, more than symbolizing the ultimately equivalent nature of the former totalitarian societies of Eastern Europe and the societies considered "free", reflects the revolt against the absurdity and violence of the modern human condition.
Nothing that makes more sense today. Since we are doing the opposite. Right? Or have they stillnot realized it?
